Born on the city of Yoshkar-Ola in the Mariy Al Republic, Russia.
Served in the army from December 1941 until June 1945.
Chernikova fought in the 1204th anti-aircraft artillery regiment of the air defense (the area of Moscow) and in the 60th division of the PVO.
She was awarded an order of the second degree of the Patriotic War and medals “For Distinguished Achievements in Combat” and “For Victory over Germany”.
