Born on May 15, 1924 in Oskeran, Azerbaijan.
Served in the army from February 1943 until November 1945.
Movsesyan fought in the artillery regiment of the special Marines (Krasnodar) in the North Caucasus. He took part in the liberation of the Rostov Region and fought in the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) and in East Prussia (the taking of Koenigsberg).
He was awarded an order of the second degree of the Patriotic War and medals by the USSR.
