Born in Baku. Azerbaijan.
Served in the army from 1940 until 1945.
Rodin fought in the 38th rifle division. He took part in battles for the liberation of Kiev, Minsk, and Brest.
He was awarded an order of the second degree of the Patriotic War and medals “For Victory over Germany”.
