Born in the town of Ovruch in the Zhitomir Region, Ukraine.
Served in the army from June 1941 until December 31, 1944.
Fridman fought on the Linigrad Front, on the Kursk-Orlov arc, and in the Baltic States in the 21st and 6th guard Armies. He was wounded three times. After the last injury in August 1944 near Shaulyai and a prolonged recovery, he was demobilized.
He was awarded orders of the first and second degree of the Patriotic War, the “Red Star”, and medals “For the defense of Leningrad” and “For Victory over Germany”.

Родился в г. Овруч Житомирской обл., Украина.
В армии с июня 1941 г. по 31 декабря 1944 г.
Воевал на Ленинградском фронте, на Курско-Орловской дуге, в Прибалтике в составе 21-й – 6-й гвардейской армии. Трижды был ранен. После последнего ранения в августе 1944 г. под Шауляем и длительного излечения был демобилизован.
Награжден орденами Отечественной войны I и II степеней, «Красная Звезда»; медалями «За оборону Ленинграда», «За победу над Германией».
