David Poghosyan was born on October 23, 1923 in the capital city or Armenia.
He fought in the 1st Ukrainian Front under the leadership of General Moskalenko in the 38th army. He was apart of the crossing of the Dniester River.
He was acknowledged for his heroism with the “Order of the Red Star” and the first class “Order of the Patriotic War”. He ended his military service in Austria, Vienna in 1945. D
