DAVID TOPELBERG

Born in the city of Tiraspol, Moldavia.
Served in the army from 1941 until 1946.
Topelberg fought in the 13th rifle division in the 64th and 7th guard Armies, which did battle in Stalingrad. He fought on the territory of Yugoslavia (Belgrade) and Austria (Vienna).
He was awarded orders of the first and second degrees of the Patriotic War, an order of the “Red Star”, and medals “For Distinguished Achievements in Combat”, “For the defense of Stalingrad”, “For Victory over Germany” and “For the liberation of Belgrade”.

Воевал в составе 13-й стрелковой дивизии 64-й - 7-й гвардейской армии, которая вела бои в Сталинграде. Сражался на территории Югославии (Белград) и Австрии (Вена).
Награжден орденами Отечественной войны I и II степени, орденом «Красная Звезда»; медалями «За боевые заслуги», «За оборону Сталинграда», «За победу над Германией», «За освобождение Белграда».
