Born on April 15, 1923 in Kazalinsk, Kazakhstan.
Served in the army from December 1942 until 1946.
Zakinov fought in the 211th mortar regiment of the 18th mortar brigade in the 15th artillery of the Red Banner division of the penetration of the North Western, Leningrad, 1st and 2nd Prebaltic, and the 2nd and 3rd Belorussian Fronts.
He was awarded the an order of the first degree of the Patriotic War, two orders of the “Red Star”, and a medal “For Distinguished Achievement in Combat”, medal “For Victory over Germany”.
