MIKHAIL DURMASHKIN

(September 1, 1917 – November 25, 2004) Born in Proskurov, Ukraine. Served in the army from 1942 until 1949. After finishing the military Academy of Armored Military Troops of the USSR, Durmashkin fought in the 50th special motorcycle reconnaissance regiment in the 3rd tank army of the 1st Ukrainian Front. He took part in battles for the liberation of Ukraine, Czechoslovakia, and the battle for Berlin. He was the commander of the technical support company. He was awarded two orders of the second degree of the Patriotic War, an order of the “Red Star”, and medals “For Victory over Germany”, “For the taking of Berlin”, and “For the liberation of Prague”.

МИХАИЛ МОИСЕЕВИЧ ДУРМАШКИН

(1 сентября 1917 г. – 25 ноября 2004 г.) Родился в г. Проскуров, Украина. В армии с 1942 по 1949 г.г. После окончания военной Академии бронетанковых войск СССР воевал в составе 50-го отдельного мотоциклетного разведывательного полка 3-й танковой армии 1-го Украинского фронта; принимал участие в боях за освобождение Украины, Чехословакии, в битве за Берлин. Был командиром роты технического обеспечения. Награжден двумя орденами Отечественной войны II степени, орденом «Красная Звезда»; медалями «За победу над Германией», «За взятие Берлина», «За освобождение Праги».
