NUKHIM REKECHINSKIY
November 10, 1921
Born on November 10, 1921 in the village of Murafa in the District of Shagorod of the Vinnitsa Region, Ukraine.
Served in the army from October 1939 until April 1942.
Rekechinskiy fought in the 911th artillery regiment in the 304th rifle division. He took part in the defense of Moscow and the beginning of the crushing defeat of the Germans near Moscow. He was heavily wounded and demobilized after his recovery.
He was awarded an order of the first degree of the Patriotic War and medals “For Distinguished Achievements in Combat”, “For the defense of Moscow” and “For Victory over Germany”.

Родился 10 ноября 1921 г. в с. Мурафа Шаргородского р-на Винницкой обл., Украина.
В армии с октября 1939 г. по апрель 1942 г.
Воевал в составе 911-го артиллерийского полка 340-й стрелковой дивизии, участник обороны Москвы и начала разгрома немцев под Москвой. Был тяжело ранен, после излечения демобилизован.
Награжден орденом Отечественной войны I степени; медалями «За боевые заслуги», «За оборону Москвы», «За победу над Германией».
