RAFAEL FRIDGANT

Rafael Fridgant was drafted to the Red Army at the very beginning of the war. After spending years as a prisoner of war in camps, he returned to his birthplace only to find out that his family have been murdered. In search of the only living niece, he moved to Odessa, got married and raised three daughters. He moved to Boston in 1990.
