VICTOR KRUMM

Born on August 4, 1923 in Tbilisy, Georgia.
Served in the army from July 18, 1941 until September 7, 1943.
Krumm took part in military action in the training battalion of the 2nd reserve rifle regiment during a German offensive near the battles for Dnepropetrovsk, Novomoskovsk, and Pavlograd on the Southwestern Front. He was in the 23rd brigade of the 10th Air Force, in the 1090th regiment in the 10th Army, and in the 10th regiment in the 323rd rifle division of the 10th Army on the Western Front (the defense of Moscow).
He was heavily wounded on March 10, 1943.
He was awarded an order of the first degree of the Patriotic War and medals “For Valor” and “For Victory over Germany”.

Награжден орденом Отечественной войны I степени; медалями «За отвагу», «За победу над Германией».
