YEVGENIY ZELIKMAN

December 5, 1916
Born on December 5, 1916 in Shchedrin, Cvetlogopsk District, Byelorussia. Served in the army from November 3, 1937 until May 1956. Zelikman fought in the 174th Borisov Red Banner rifle division with Suvorov and Kutuzov orders in the 31st Àrmy on the 3rd Belorussian Front. Took part in the defense of Moscow, in the liberation of Belorussia, and in battles in East Prussia (the taking of Koenigsberg). He was awarded orders of the first and second degree of the Patriotic War, two orders of the “Red Star”, and medals “For Distinguished achievement in Combat”, “For Victory over Germany”, and “For the taking of Koenigsberg”

ЕВГЕНИЙ ЮРЬЕВИЧ ЗЕЛИКМАН

Родился 5 декабря 1916 г. в пос. Щедрин Светлогорского р-на, Белоруссия. В армии с октября 1937 г. по май 1956 г. Воевал в составе 174-й Борисовской Краснознаменной орденов Суворова и Кутузова стрелковой дивизии 3-й армии 3-го Белорусского фронта. Принимал участие в обороне Москвы, в освобождении Белоруссии, в боях в Восточной Пруссии (взятие Кенигсберга). Награжден орденами Отечественной войны I и II степеней, двумя орденами «Красная Звезда»; медалями «За боевые заслуги», «За победу над Германией», «За взятие Кенигсберга».
